Key messages given during a NDE are incredibly important. Essentially they are of the format: “You will now return to your life. After all the things you have seen on the other side, the one thing to take back with you when you return to your life is… ” These messages congregate around a number of themes, but the easiest way to get a feeling for them before coming to a conclusion is just to list them.
Theresa
The most important lesson from Theresa’s life review was that “love was the best choice”. “I saw how I had to be careful how I treated people.” In addition, there were three things Theresa was told to remember when she returned:
- To have more love
- Not to be afraid of what I had left behind
- To enjoy life

- We are not only on Earth to learn, but to love
- You are a miracle – treat yourself like one
- This Earth and the universe are also miracles

Dannion Brinkley
Dannion experienced a number of realms in his NDE, one of which was a fertile void which he described as “the blue grey place” where he saw beings that were stuck in patterns of thought similar to what they had on Earth. From this, he realised the importance of transforming ourselves now:
“If there is just one lesson from Heaven you could commit to memory, let it be this: our thoughts create our attitudes, and together they create the quality of life we experience – both here and in the Hereafter.” (Secrets of the Light, p84)
Howard Storm
Howard Storm had an incredibly detailed NDE and it is worth reading about the whole encounter. One part of it was a discussion with Jesus and the Angels where Howard was told he needed to return to Earth, which he didn’t want to do. This turned into a debate where he was told he needs to take care of the people God needs him to love. Although they are also loved by the spiritual beings they need Howard (and us all) as the hands in the world to care for them. Ultimately, he was told “You are to love the person you are with”. This will then have a ripple effect of expanding throughout the world:
‘You are to love the person you are with.’
‘How will that save the world?’
‘When you love a person, that person will love another, and that person will love the next one, and so on.’
‘What if one of those persons gets run over by a truck? Then it comes to an end.’
‘You are not alone in God’s plan to save the world. There are millions of people loving people.’
‘There are millions of people hating each other too.’
‘This is God’s will and it will be done. There are many more angels in the world than people. They are trying to influence people to love and care for each other. All Heaven prays for the world to change. It is God’s will and God’s will shall be done on earth as it is in Heaven.’

- Do not harm – Do not Harm. Harm nothing with hate. Love one another!
- Forgive – The key to allowing our light to illuminate and to radiate is by clearing our hearts of any and all forgiveness issues.
- Light – I saw how light is energy unto itself, with frequencies that originated in the divinity and sacredness of God. I remembered that the light was always with us and although we may have had human bodies, we had within… light bodies!
- Love – The most powerful force in the universe is love. As the sacred emotion of God, love transcends all. It is our true state of being. There is only love.
- Prayer – I understood that prayers from the heart ride vibration frequencies to God. I witnessed how a thought became an intent, how the intent became a word, how the word became a prayer, and how the prayer became a manifestation.
- Vibration – Pure, crystal-clear, resonating frequencies pulsated through all, connecting everyone, everything and every universe to God. I saw divine frequencies, vibrating and connecting micro cosmos creations to macro cosmos creations.
- Celestial music – The music I experienced there was sacred, moving and almost magical in that it also took on a life and energy of its own, connecting with me, and becoming a part of me.
- Mission – Before we arrived, we chose the vessel that would house our soul, spirit, energy and light. We chose the circumstances and we set the stage. We chose the experience. Each and every one of us is here for a reason. Each of us has a gift to share, a creative talent, a contribution to make, a chance to raise the vibration of each other and our planet
- Family – We travel in packs and we know each other from heaven, and we will be there together again when we leave this earth.
- Possibilities – When we see the possibilities in every aspect of our life, we connect with God. When we see possibilities, our hearts open and pathways for miracles and transformation to occur, emerge.
- Connect to God – Prayer, meditation and breath and are ways to connect to God. Music, art, nature and laughter are others.
